Abiding in God's Will 1

2018-04-18 John 15:1-15, Romans 12:1-2

Study Introduction

As Bamidele walked down to his hall trying to decide which of the elective courses he should register for, the voice of His friend, Amaka, kept ringing in his ears; 'Why not ask God for His will concerning the matter?'. He pondered on the question continually though he wasn't sure God was interested in his choice of elective courses or not. 'How will I even know which one is His will?' he muttered to himself.

The Cross of Christ

2018-03-14 Matt 16:13-28, Rom 6:1-11

Study Introduction

What a marvelous love the Father has lavished on us that we should be partakers of His divine nature. The victory that the suffering, death, resurrection and ascension of Christ afford us was not without Him having to go to the cross, for there, by one sacrifice (of His life) brought perfection unto us (Heb 10:5-7,10:14, Matt 16:21). However, in sustaining this victory we must live daily bearing the cross through which the victory was delivered to us. May the Lord grants us understanding as we behold the mirror of his word.

Study Introduction

The ultimate plan of God is to restore all things back unto himself , that there may be only one Sheepfold and one Shepherd. Jesus, the son of God is the mediator between God and man who hath reconciled us to God by the Cross. This plan is brought to all men by presenting the gospel of our salvation which informs everyone under the bondage of sin that the King is Come. And for this purpose has the Lord set apart ministers who will bring the world to the knowledge of the acceptable year of the Lord.

Study Introduction

We have got to a threshold of breaking forth into our inheritance and we cannot afford to miss it at that critical juncture "Isaiah 66:9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God." It is not a gainsaying that God is set to open everyone's eyes to behold the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints and to make us part-taker of His divine nature, yet we must press in through prayer. May you lay hold of your portion as we study together in Jesus name, amen.

2017-09-18 1 SAMUEL 1-3, 1Pet 2:9, 1JOHN 4:1-4

Study Introduction

God's desire is to raise a kingdom of priest not limited to a clan or a group. He offered this to the children of Israel but they would rather have Moses hear God for them. Samuel was an example of a faithful priest which God raised for himself who served as a pattern and shadow of Jesus priesthood. Samuel came to fulfil a mandate from heaven just like Jesus also had come to fulfil the purpose of God for his life. No man jumps into God’s calling for his life but grows into the man that God would use. These offer is extended to us also and we must rise as that generation that will seek him, that seeks his face. These formative years are critical and dependent primarily on the man’s fellowship with God.

The Lord himself appoints men with whom he can share his burden and passion to save a lost world. To these men he reveals how to be an effective witness and supplies all that they need for the journey. May the Lord grant us understanding and passion for this great commission.

2017-09-04 Rom 8:1-17, Gal 4:1-9, 5:1-26

Study Introduction

How great the Father's love for us, how wide beyond all measure to make a wretch his treasure. God also gave a promise to the heirs of salvation that he would put his Spirit within us who would help us to walk in his will (Eze 36:27). The Spirit is God's means of building up a glorious church in love, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing. The working of the Spirit of God in bringing us up to the fullness of the image of God is fulfilled as we agree to walk in the Spirit. The pathway to spiritual progress is anchored deeply on knowing, agreeing in faith and yielding to the work he wrought in us, hence, walking in the Spirit. May He open our eyes as we explore.

2017-09-04 1 JOHN 5:1-13

Study Introduction

A long age battle which has not stopped till today is the war between Light and Darkness, Truth and Evil. Man made by God found himself in the midst of this battle but in the confines of Gods pleasure (Eden) .But by deception of the enemy, man lost God, Eden and his authority. But what Devil stole by deception was restored by love. Faith in this love gives Victory above all the vices of the Devil.

Study Introduction

AGAIN, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a treasure hid in a field. The definition of the Kingdom of God to any individual defines the extent to which such a person will give heed to it. The Call of God as it concerns our lives is deliberate and paramount in the agenda of Heaven as it pertains to our generation. The whole creation awaits the rising of the Sons of God ( Rm 8;19) even through the explicit representation of our daily living to the details of the dispensation of Mysteries of God. May we arise to this call
